Abstract

The role of higher educational establishments in forming of national innovation system of Ukraine is considered in the article. Directions of influencing of higher education on innovation processes are determined in the economy. It was established that the development of higher education sector is a basic prerequisite for achieving is essential to achieve the strategic goals of innovative transformation of the economy. The current state of the higher education sector in Ukraine is analyzed in the context of the national innovation system. Problems of higher education establishments in Ukraine are generalized. Recommendations for strengthening the role of higher educational establishments are developed.
