Abstract

The article is about the problem of implementation of the pension reform in Ukraine during realizing the investment opportunities of accumulated pension contributions. The main purpose of pension investment is to ensure the safety of insurance contributions to savings funds.
Existing investment potential of pension assets and financial instruments of its implementation, which are included by legislation, is analysed. Up to 10 % of their amount may be invested by the bank metals market.
The article is used to calculate the volume of pension savings, which will go to the financial market after the pension reform implementation. The analysis of the current state of investing pension assets in gold and other precious metals is performed. A review of the bank metals market, its subjects and objects is made. Their main financial parameters in the dynamics are studied. The advantages of investing pension funds in bank metals during reforming the pension system in Ukraine are determined
